President & CEO – US Land founder and president Stephen Rosenburgh began his real estate development career in 1977 at York-Hannover, an international real estate development firm. There, he participated in the acquisition and sale of more than $300 million in real estate assets, with responsibilities including planning and zoning, design, finance, project management and leasing/sales.

In 1983, he joined Morewood Industries, a manufacturer of housing components and modular homes, as president and managing director. After the sale of Morewood in 1989, Rosenburgh became senior vice president of Bramalea Limited, then the largest publicly traded real estate development company in North America, where he was responsible for residential construction, land acquisition, marketing and sales, with an annual budget exceeding $120 million.

In 1993, he founded Jordan Homes, a construction and land development company whose Charlotte, NC-area projects included The Greens at Piper Glen, Carrington and The Greens at Birkdale. In 1998, he sold his interest in Jordan and established Asset Corporation of the South and US Land Investments, LLC, to concentrate in residential, commercial and industrial land development.


Education

Rosenburgh received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Laurentian University, and also holds a master’s degree in administration and marketing, as well as an advanced degree in public administration, from Carleton University and the University of Ottawa. He has also completed the Executive Management Program at the Harvard Business School.


Public Service

Rosenburgh has recently been appointed to the North Carolina Banking Commission. He is a member of the Charlotte Planning Commission and has also served as a Housing Commissioner for the City of Charlotte.


Community Service

Active in non-profit organizations, Rosenburgh has been chairman of Enterprise Development International, an organization that starts economic enablement programs in the US and dozens of other countries. He currently serves on both the Charleston Southern University and the Drummond Center at Erskine College boards. Stephen is also a member of Longview and Meadowview Clubs in Charlotte.
