CFO – Mr. Mullins has 29 years of experience in finance, accounting, international taxation, senior management, business planning and valuation, insurance, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate investment and development. He has consulted on financial and investment issues pertaining to businesses and markets in North America, Central America, Europe and Africa.
He was President of Arthur Mullins & Son, Inc., his consulting firm in Toronto, Canada, where he put together real estate syndications, oversaw mergers and acquisitions, and performed all aspects of due diligence and valuation of corporate and targeted project assets.
During his career, he has been involved in leading the successful syndication of retirement homes, hotels, condominiums, and office buildings totaling $110 million. Mr. Mullins also analyzed and developed an agreement between the World Bank, the country of Zambia, and his firm for a “Debt-for-Development” Zambian sovereign debt buy-back in the amount of $22 million.
In 2002, Mr. Mullins moved to Charlotte to join US Land. Prior to joining US Land, he was Senior Vice President of a firm providing consulting and research to the banking and insurance industries. Clients included banks, thrifts, credit unions, insurance companies, banking and insurance trade associations, independent insurance agents, and law firms.
