The Catawba River Plantation community is a mixed use development at the intersection of Route 27 and Mount Holly-Huntersville Road in Northwest Charlotte, less than three miles from the new I-485 interchange and minutes from Uptown and Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.
Catawba River Plantation has been zoned residential and mixed-use, which allows for a variety of home placements and greater flexibility in land planning. The community encompasses over 300 acres, and will eventually contain close to 1000 single-family detached and attached homes in a range of sizes and prices. An expanse of waterfront space lets residents take casual walks along the Catawba River. A network of sidewalks leads to the community’s junior Olympic pool and cabana.
The nearby Catawba Village shopping center offers a supermarket, dining and shopping. Catawba River Plantation is also adjacent to a major subdivision with 943 existing and planned homes.
